TO BE A DENIST

I have been here for the first time in elementary years and I continued to high school. I decided to study further to finish my university here. When I came here for the first time, I was very unfamiliar with the new environment. When I was in trouble, my brother, sister, and friends who were studying together with the director came to me first and gave me a lot more, and it has already been several years since I had been adapting and now I am doing fine. I was a child studying away from Korea so it was hard and difficult for me to study here for the first time. However, as I lived according to the schedule that the director made, I learned a little habit of studying and studying. After seeing this change, my parents changed their 8 week camp plan and decided that I study abroad. When I realized my parents' decision, I felt a big sense of betrayal from my parents who did not even say a word, but now I am thankful to my parents who made the decision at that time.
When I first met an English teacher who was a native speaker, I could not communicate or understand, but I was able to gradually understand the class while I was studying words, patterns, idioms and communicate with my teachers. I was amazed and amazed to see myself changing naturally. When I went to school for the first time after 3 months, I studied harder my Filipino friends did. Before I came here, I was amazed when I am reminded of my long distance studying from home. It was really like a dream that I came here to the Philippines. I attended math competition when I was 1st year and 2nd year and got 1st place.
I received certificates and awards and I thought it would be impossible because of language barrier . I never would have achieved those if I had not come here to Bela. I decided to pursue my career through counseling with the director constantly. I am 18 years old now and I am majoring in dentistry at the university. As I started studying at Bela Language School, my life changed 360 degrees. Like studying in Korea, it is now normal to live here because I am enjoying school while expressing my thoughts in a free atmosphere rather than being tied up of pulling up my grades like the system in Korea. There are too many things I want to do in the future. I want to be the first dentist to treat my parents, and I also want to serve freely to those who have difficulties living in the world.

I am currently a student at the University of the East in Manila taking up a course in dentistry. I started studying at BELA Language School for the first time when I was in elementary school. At first, the plan was to finish only elementary school here, and from middle school I will study in Korea. However, unlike the Korean schools, the Philippine schools allowed all the students to participate in class through participative education rather than the injective education. I was an introvert and changed my orientation and became more of an extrovert, and the stress on studying was reduced a great deal.
I have also been studying Chinese for 4 years since I was in my 6th grade and I thought that I should finish university in the Philippines. At the age of 17, I entered University of Baguio’s dental school. And at the time that I was going to finish my pre-dentistry schooling, the director recommended that I transfer to the most famous University of the East in Manila. I am still looking forward to travelling to Bela on a bus to Baguio without any hesitation when I have vacation, holiday, or worries. So far, I am grateful to BELA for helping me to do well. I will be a good doctor and I will repay you for your grace.
